Doing senior pictures for Matthew was a great experience.  The day was warm and sunny, which made for some great pictures.  We did them at two different locations.  The first was a  barn with many different walls to use as backgrounds.  It worked really well for the pictures with him and his guitar.  The second location was a nearby park.  Working with shade and a reflector, we were able to work some some really nice portraits.

In my senior sessions, I try to get great portraits and also great pictures of the senior with things that really define them.  Instruments and sports equipment are just a couple things to bring to sessions.   Locations are up to the senior.  Indoor studio and outdoor photography are available.  It is also possible to do a mix of both.   Changing things up with a location and outfit change can help get a whole new perspective and variety to the pictures as well.  In my sessions, I also offer a photo book that is designed in Photoshop and professionally printed.

These senior pictures of Missy were taken last fall at Samuel Lewis State Park.  There were many great photos from the session, and I included a few below.  In high school senior sessions, I always try to include many things athat represent who that senior is and get some great photos.  Missy is in to photography, so including her camera was a must.   There were some nice backgrounds at the park which worked really well.

In all of my senior sessions, I try to get a mix of portraits with the items that define the student, such as rings, jackets, sports equipment, or musical instruments.  I can make suggestions, but I usually leave it up to the senior what to bring and then I will make it work in the pictures.  I am flexible with outdoor locations, and I also can do a studio setup for a few pictures with lights and a backdrop.  I offer a professional photo book that I design in Photoshop using all the edited pictures from the session.  You can get more information about high school senior sessions and books here – senior pictures.

These senior pictures were taken of Kara in the York PA area at Samuel Lewis State Park.  They were taken this past fall which made for a unique backdrop of colors.  We had the session as the sun was beginning to set which provided some beautiful warm light for the background and on the hair.  She did a great job and her photos turned out great.
